You can follow the steps to deactivate DNSSEC: #
- Navigate to domain’s main page in My Pages.
- Scroll down to Basic DNS Management section
1. Dectivating DNSSEC Using Svenska Domäner name servers #
- If you are using the name servers provided by Svenska Domäner, the process of deactivating DNSSEC is straightforward and largely automated.
- In the DNSSEC management section, look for a button labeled ’Deactivate’. Click this button to start the DNSSEC deactivation process.
- DNSSEC will be automatically deactivated. No additional steps are required from your side.
- After that you will be able to ’Activate’ DNSSEC again.
2. Deactivating DNSSEC using external name servers #
- If you are using external name servers (not provided by Svenska Domäner), and if you have already existed DS records you will have ’Deactivate’ button option in the DNSSEC management section.
- After you click and confirm it, deactivation will start and you will be able to add new DS records using UI interface.
